Speaking

A working session, not a keynote.

I run hands-on sessions for CEO peer groups and owner associations on the problem every room has: the business that can't run without its owner. Your members work on their own company, not mine.

Watch

The problem every room has, in one story.

The problem every room has, in one story.

Every group has an owner trapped in their own business.

You know which member it is. The one whose company would wobble if they took two weeks off. Every quote, every pricing call, every key account routes through them, and the group has watched them stay stuck on the same issue for three quarters.

If the business stops when you stop, you don't own a business. You have a job. That's the session.

Built for the room

Workshop format, not a talk. Members apply every exercise to their own business and leave with something they can use Monday morning.

An operator, not a speaker

Twenty years running manufacturing and field-service operations. P&L ownership, turnarounds, acquisitions. I speak shop floor and boardroom.

Nothing sold from the front of the room

No pitch, no offer, no services slide. The session is the value, and you stay the person who booked a good one.

The Speaker

Twenty years inside the businesses your members run.

Session content comes from operating experience, not theory. Every exercise is one I've run inside real companies, with real teams, under real constraints.

Session Topics

Three sessions, all workshop format.

Operations

The Owner Bottleneck

Why everything routes through the founder and what has to exist before it can stop. Members run a live constraint diagnosis on their own company: if your customers doubled tomorrow, what breaks first?

Change

Why Nothing Sticks

Roughly 70% of change initiatives fail, and it's never the tooling. Identity threat, loss of control, "we tried that before." Members map the resistance patterns on the change they're driving right now.

Exit Value

The Exit Discount

Buyers discount owner-dependent businesses 20 to 50 percent. Members score their own transferable value and find the one dependency costing them the most at the multiple.

Format and logistics

Sessions run 90 minutes to a full day, sized to your meeting. Based in San Diego, in person across Southern California, remote anywhere.

Every session is interactive because that's how the material works: your members' businesses are the case studies.

Tell me about your group and the date you have in mind. If it's not a fit, I'll say so.
